Breakfast Menu Information


New regulations for the School Breakfast Program (Grades PreK - 12) as of S.Y 2014-2015


Whole Grains = All grains must be whole grain-rich beginning school year 2014-2015


Grain/Meat/Meat Alternate = Grades K - 5: 1oz. minimum daily (7-10oz. weekly); Grades 6-8: 1oz. minimum daily (8-10oz. weekly); Grades 9-12 = 1oz. minimum daily (9-10oz. weekly)


Fruit = 1 cup per day


Milk = 1 cup (8oz.) per day. Must be fat-free (unflavored/flavored) or 1% low fat (unflavored)


OFFER VS. SERVE FOR BREAKFAST: Students must select at least 3 components to make a meal. One of them MUST be 1/2 cup fruit.
